GUESTS & RESOURCES

Episode Overview:

Join host Ben as he continues his conversation with Jordan Koene, SEO Strategist and Advisor to Searchmetrics. Together they discuss how Google is cleaning up their search engine.

Google is starting to clean up its search data and organize the resources to one hub. Jordan shares that Google is starting to consolidate the reports they collect and give to webmasters and SEO in search console. Google’s Discovery Performance Report is showing core metrics on Chrome. Google is focusing on the performance reporting that they are provided to those who are owning the website.

Google is making an effort to tell people to make sure that the sites have their basic housekeeping down. Site structure and speed should be prioritized. These resources are meant for technical optimization and Jordan theorizes that it is the start of a larger update in the future.
